RJ Machine Works supplies pipeline packages for both onshore and offshore oilfield applications. Process piping spools, pipeline senders, receivers and pipeline bypass systems are fabricated in accordance with B31.3 (ASME). Power piping will be constructed in accordance with B31.1 (ASME). Fittings in categories  A, B, E & H are manufactured in accordance with CSA B51. Additionally, we provide piping for the oil and gas, forestry, mining, and processing industries. If you are unsure of the specifications of the piping you require or want to inquire about our services, give one of our experienced team members a call or an email and we would be happy to help you out.

STRUCTURAL FABRICATION

Structural steel is an advantageous building material for a wide range of applications. Structural steel as a material weighs far less in comparison to various other metals. Further, it is more economical than many other materials as well. The use of structural steel can provide products with a great deal of strength and stability. Thus, it has become a popular material for large-scale construction projects. Highly-skilled fabricators/welders are necessary to ensure these transformations are possible and executed properly. RJ Machine Works offers a full-stack design to build service for fabrication of complex steel structures. Our advanced engineering and 3D modeling provide us with major advantages in our fabrication process including CAD models, quality control checks are conducted before; drawings are issued, cutting, welding and assembly stages. All welders and inspectors are CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) certified. Skids or rigid sub-structures are generally used to support modular structures in most industries. Skids are ideal for placement on solid foundations such as concrete or packed gravel, however, they can also be used for setting on drilled piles in more permanent installations. Smaller skids are constructed to allow for sling lifting or loading over a flat-bed truck roll, this is common in the oilfield.

PRESSURE VESSELS
No two fabrication projects or sites are the same, but the priorities almost always are safety and productivity. If you are beginning a new project or replacing parts on an existing one, you want to trust that your equipment can withstand the pressure and/or abrasiveness of the material that gets introduced into the system. Our pressure vessels are built to the highest standards, keeping the job site running, and protecting the safety of your crew and your assets. Everything RJ Machine Works produces is ABSA (Alberta Boilers Safety Association) certified because we believe that going above and beyond what is required keeps our clients safe and productive.

PLASMA CUTTING

What is Plasma Cutting?

Plasma cutting is a process that cuts through conductive materials with an accelerated jet of hot plasma. Typical materials include steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and copper, although other metals may be cut as well. The high speed and precision cuts combined with the low cost associated with plasma cutting allows for widespread use.

Our system uses Computer Numerical Control (CNC) which is the automated control of the plasma cutter by means of a computer. This cuts a piece of conductive material according to instructions from a piece of software to precise specifications.

How Do We Do It?

RJ Machine Works has the capability to design and sketch out your parts, business logo, silhouette scenery or other artwork. Following this, we render it digitally using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, AutoCAD, and/or several other software applications. Then we use our in-house CNC plasma cutter to accurately produce and replicate items again and again. The entire process of design, fabrication, and manufacturing under one roof allows us to offer competitive prices in the current market by cutting out the middleman.

WATER JETTING

Water jetting (or water cutting) is an environmentally friendly alternative to plasma cutting. Water jet cutting has higher accuracy than plasma, and does not create a heat affected zone, so there are no cutting stresses generated in the material. The water jet cutting process may be carried out on thicker materials with CNC precision. Get in touch today to see what fabrication option best suits you!
